Starting in September, we’ll be rolling out our 50 finalists by category.

Thanks to all those who submitted nominations for the Route Fifty Navigator Awards. Now that the window for nominations has closed, we’re in the process of reviewing the submissions, but in the meantime, we wanted to give you an idea of what’s coming next.

First off, we received an overwhelming number of submissions and for those that have caught our eye, we may be reaching out to ask some follow-up questions in the coming weeks. (We have a lot of great submissions, which is great.)

What comes next after evaluation of the submissions?

Starting in September, we will be releasing our 50 Navigator Award finalists in batches by category, with the 10 finalists in the Government Allies and Cross-Sector Partners category being announced the second week of September. We’ll announce finalists from other categories approximately every two weeks, with the aim of announcing finalists from the last category, IT and Data Innovators, the week of Oct. 31.

Once all 50 finalists are rolled out, we’ll be looking to choose 10 winners from those 50 and host an event in mid-November to announce those 10 winners and detail what made them stand out. We’re still hammering out details, so stay tuned for more information.
