Connecting state and local government leaders

The mayors of Anchorage, Grand Rapids and San José join us to discuss equity and resiliency and land use challenges in their cities.

If you couldn’t join us for the second Route Fifty Roadshow event last week in Seattle, don’t worry, we’re hosting a special follow-up digital event on Tuesday, May 9 from 1-3 p.m. ET (10 a.m.-12 noon PT) where we’ll be featuring recordings of our discussions about equity and resiliency in America’s cities.

On our agenda:

  • Conversations with Anchorage Mayor Ethan Berkowitz, Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalynn Bliss and San José Mayor Sam Liccardo about their work as 2017 Daniel Rose Center for Public Leadership fellowship cities working to address land-use challenges in their communities.
  • Also, a conversation with Kathy Nyland, director of the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, about new models for community engagement.

REGISTER AND WATCH | Tuesday, May 9 from 1-3 p.m. ET (10 a.m.-12 noon PT)

Don’t miss our backgrounders on this year’s Rose Center cities: Anchorage, Grand Rapids, San José and Washington, D.C.
