The job requirements surprisingly do not include experience with Microsoft Paint.

This job advertisement from the City of Los Angeles is either a cry for help, or the work of a genius:

As the posting says, the city is looking for a graphics designer, and in a bid to prove how desperately they need one, they created the whole flyer in Microsoft Paint (Route Fifty assumes).

So far, members of the public have responded in kind by showing off their own artistic chops: 

And, for those whose delicate sensibilities were offended by the posting's choice of font, the person behind the City of Los Angeles Personnel Department's Twitter feed provided this small consolation. It could have been much, much worse:
